Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 2025
1. Acceptance of the terms
By downloading, installing, or using Timalia (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use the App.
2. Service description
Timalia is an app for medication management and tracking. It allows you to register medications, receive local reminders, keep an intake history, connect with caregivers, and generate reports. Authorized caregivers can also request an AI-generated summary of a linked patient's medication records. Its offline-first approach stores your data locally on the device, while caregiver connections, AI summaries, and remote management features require an internet connection and a user account.
3. Registration and account
To use Timalia's online features, you must sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account confidential and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide truthful and up-to-date information when setting up your profile.
4. Permitted use
You agree to use Timalia only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the App to store third-party information without their consent, automate data collection from the service, or use it in any way that may damage, overload, or interfere with the operation of the App.
5. Patient-caregiver connection
Connection features let you share information about your treatment with caregivers you authorize. By sending a connection request, you consent to the accepted caregiver being able to view your medications, history, and reports. You may revoke any connection at any time from the App.
6. Not a medical service
Timalia is not a medical device and does not replace the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a healthcare professional. This also applies to AI-generated summaries, which are informational, may contain errors, and are based solely on the medication records available in the App. Always follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, icons, trademarks, and code are the property of Timalia. No ownership rights over the App are granted other than the limited right of use established in these Terms. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of the App is prohibited.
8. Service availability
Timalia is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee that the App will be continuously available or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue service features at any time without prior notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Timalia will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App, including data loss, missed doses, or decisions made based on the information displayed.
10. Changes to the terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when published on this page. We recommend reviewing this document periodically.
11. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms and Conditions, you can contact us through the channels made available in the App.
